Research Structure

The Lab is structured around the following program areas. Within each program area, there are multiple topics. For example, within Consumer Engagement there are topics such as: Benefit Design; High Deductible Health Plans; and Transparency. Within each topic, we are developing individual projects. For example, projects within Payment Reform, specific projects include: Evaluating ACOs and Improving ACO Regulations, and a Quantitative Evaluation of the Arkansas Payment Improvement Initiative. In addition to research in these areas, the Lab has established a METHODS CORE, which is conducting methodological research designed to strengthen the robustness, validty, and rigor of applied DiD research - inspired by and applied to Lab studies.
